TMX Fixer Basic

Version 1: June 2011, Samuel Murray
Version 2: March 2013 (added scripts for UTF16LE)

These versions are called "basic" because the advanced version (which is unlikely to be written) would have had options to delete faulty segments individually. With the basic version, if you want faulty segments deleted, use the noisy version and then process the TM in a TMX editor to check altered segments manually.

The noisy version will replace rogue characters with [rogue!] (and spaces on either side) and will add [entity!] (and spaces on either side) in front of any fixed entities. Use the silent version if you don't want to spend further time processing the TM in your CAT tool's TMX editor.

The silent version will replace rogue characters with a space and will add a space before any fixed entities. Use the noisy version if you need to be able to see in your CAT tool's TMX editor which segments were altered.
